Heidelberg is a sure shot jewel in German travel destinations I had visited places like Berlin, Frankfurt which are famous for their sheer beauty of modern lifestyle and very German attitude. The skyscrapers are simply majestic and example of very contemporary graceful lifestyle. The places visited in Berlin and Germany gives an impression of how Germany has evolved from a war torn country ran by a brutal dictator to a country of warmth and enthralling magnificence. If Berlin was contemporary then Heidelberg is simply beautiful and hotels in Heidelberg are quite affordable and cheap its main attractions are its lush green surroundings and hilly areas. Situated besides the Neckar river it is one of a kind town.I stayed in Heidelberg for 2 days of utter bliss and get to see many places of historical importance like the Altstat and Hauptstrasse, the castle ,the Philossophenweg which is at the northern side of the city and provides clear view of the city. Heidelberg in education has the same reputation as oxford and Cambridge have in this world.
